If you believe in the principles of lean manufacturing and best practice, and are looking to bring value, cost savings and results, then this autonomous role is worth your consideration.  The company is a well respected national manufacturer with operations Australia wide, and supplies to a diverse range of industrial clients.

You will be expected to challenge status quo - and work closely with production to ensure DIFOT and cost targets are achieved.  Site based, your broad duties will encompass material management, purchasing/procurement, planning and distribution.  The role offers a combination of tactical and strategic objectives and accountabilities.

To be successful you will need a solid history in supply chain management in a manufacturing environment, coupled with demonstrated leadership skills.  You will absolutely require excellent communication and presentation skills coupled with the ability to influence key stakeholders.  APICS and/or relevant tertiary qualifications will always stand you in good stead, and experience with SAP will be highly regarded.
