Research Officer

6 - 12 Month Temporary Contract

Parramatta Location - close to transport

$45 per hour plus superannuation

This NSW state government department is urgently seeking an experienced Research Officer for a long term temporary contract to start as soon as possible. In this role you will be responsible for locating and reviewing the varied data sources, collating, analysing and evaluating research results and designing a structured program of policy research. You will also be required to liaise and maintain strong relationships with all the relevant stakeholder groups.
The successful applicant will have:
Tertiary qualifications or equivalent
Experience in law and public policy
Ability to manage information
Research and critically analyse policy and legal issues
Ability to consult and liaise at a senior level
Strong client focus
Sound understanding of the Professional Standards Act 1994 (NSW)
