Realisations Officer

  • The Realisations Officer is responsible for effective management of arrears and legal processes in relation to customer arrears portfolios which will include Home Loans, Credit Cards and Personal Loans. This includes a focus on minimising losses to the business and ensuring ????? ????? service is delivered at all times. The management of customers through a potentially emotional process requires a high level of communication skills while also ensuring ????? ????? policy and procedure and adhered to.

    We require the services of an experienced Realisations officer with a high level of communication and negotiation skills. This role is an end to end Realisations position and you will be responsible for the management of numerous accounts at any one time.

    You will be dealing borrowers, solicitors, real estate agents, and various other third parties throughout this process so you will need to be highly organised and able to manage your time accordingly.

    Your duties will include though not be limited to the following:

    • Delivery of a superior customer service experience through ownership of the customer relationship
    • Management and ownership of accounts where loan collections are considered to be sensitive or high risk
    • Ensure timely and satisfactory completion of Collection actions undertaking all tasks set by business policy
    • Negotiate re-payment arrangements that repay the arrears within timeframes and delegations set by business policies
    • Ensure compliance with business policies and legislation at all times
    • Mitigate risk issues which may arise during ????? ?????
    • Issue correspondence where necessary
    • Identify loss options and manage loss provisions
    • Work effectively within a team environment, sharing ????? ????? other members of the team

    We require you to have:

    • Knowledge of arrears practices for consumer products
    • Knowledge of legal process relating to default judgement & Real Property Act
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Problem solving skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work as a part of a team
