Our client is a multi-national market leading company with a reputation for excellence within the energy sector. 

 

Due to company growth they are currently searching for an experienced Design and Test Engineer to join their team. 

 

The role of  Design Engineer Secondary systems is responsible for all aspects of substation design (secondary side) for indoor and or outdoor substations above 66,000 volts. Typical voltages will be 132kV, 330kV and 500kV. The role will involve green field, and brown field sites of varying size and complexity. 

 

 You will have experience in protection, control and SCADA equipment selection, coordination and design to meet relevant Australian design codes and client requirements, along with extensive experience with PLC hardware and software. 

 

To be successful in this role you will preferably hold an Electrical Engineering ????? ?????, have a minimum of five years experience in secondary systems power transmission design, be familiar with modern design practices used in transmission substations and be able to work as a valuable member of the design team.
