An opportunity for an experienced Contracts Administrator currently exists. Based in Western Sydney the main aim of this position will be the monitoring ????? ????? of Government education contracts and to assist with the delivery of building requirements to the highest possible standards of quality and time-efficient workmanship. You will be working with a management team that consists of Directors and Managers who have been associated with major contractors and contracts in both managerial and technical capacities for over forty years.
POSITION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The monitoring ????? ????? of the detailed construction program providing regular updates to the Project Managers.
- Reviewing critical contractual and technical documentation.
- Assisting in the development, award and maintenance of subcontracts associated with projects.
- Assessment of the head contracts and sub-contractors variations and progress claims.
- The preparation of notices and administration of claims relating to delays, extensions of time and variations.
- Monitoring ????? ????? systems ensuring ????? ????? management is undertaken in accordance with company procedures and is audit compliant.
- Assisting site teams with preparation of tender documentation in compliance with project procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Degree or Diploma in Building and Construction Management (this may be overlooked if the candidate has relevant experience)
- A minimum of 5 years Contracts Administration experience with the building industry but not related to Civil Engineering ????? ?????.
- Demonstarted contractual and commercial awareness with strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer Literate with strong administration and organisational skills.

Environmental Management System AS/NZS 14001:2004
OHS Management System AS 4801:2000
On offer for this highly challenging and rewarding position is a salary package circa $110K including a company car.
