An opportunity for an experienced Leading Hand currently exists. Based in the Sydney Metro area, the main aim of this position will be the overall delivery of building requirements to the highest possible standards of quality and time-efficient workmanship. You will be responsible for your team of tradesmen and reporting to a management team that consists of Directors and Managers who have been associated with major contractors and contracts in both managerial and technical capacities for over forty years.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A trade background preferably in Carpentry and Joinery
- Tertiary qualifications in a building discipline will be highly regarded
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a Leading Hand within the building industry with a proven track record.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer Literate with strong administration and organisational skills.
On offer for this highly challenging and rewarding position is a salary package circa $85K including a company car. This position should be of special interest for those who are career minded as opportunities will arise within the next 12 to 24 months to be promoted to a Foreman position.
