Our client is a global organization based huge modern offices in Western Sydney, located close to major transport routes and with plenty of onsite parking , they are without doubt a market leader in their field. Due to a sustained period of growth they require the services of an experienced Accountant either part qualified or recently qualified CPA or CA to take a lead Accountant role within their growing marketing department. This is a vibrant and fast moving environment and the role will require an individual with the character and personality to be able to operate within such an area.
Ideally we require someone with previous experience of liaising or interacting with marketing departments, who can demonstrate a solid understanding of marketing strategy and principles as well as being able to mentor and guide non accounting staff members through analysis of financial data associated with marketing and advertising of new and current product ranges. This role encompasses all the core duties of a company accountant with the exception of payroll which is handled by a separate department, and presents a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Accountant with marketing experience to step up into a stand alone role.
This role will require first class communication and people skills and a dynamic and pro active approach.

The core of the role will involve:
Forecasting
Budgeting
Accounts Payable and Receivable
Analysis
Reporting of financial data to Management
General Ledger management
Ad hoc tasks as required
To be considered for the role you will possess the following:
Part or recently qualified CPA or CA
Experience in Marketing or similar industry
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
A pro active can do attitude
FMCG experience would ideal but is not essential
