To support this growth, we are now searching for an experienced Financial Controller to provide financial & commercial advice to the business owner whilst managing the finance, administration & HR functions. It is expected that this role will develop into the CFO over time as the business grows.

As an ambitious, commercially minded & practical finance professional, your initial mandate will be to review and implement strong internal controls, policies & processes, systems & tools to support the business. In addition, you will be required to implement stringent cash-flow management, daily/weekly/monthly reporting & analysis. With the support of a small team, this is a hands-on role with involvement in many aspects of the business. It is expected that you will support and help drive the expansion of the business.

Who are we looking for?

 

CPA/CA qualified

Experience in a Project costing, Job costing or WIP environment is essential

Exposure to a growth or SME environment is preferable

Well-developed business acumen

An ability to be assertive and challenge the status quo when needed

A strong team player with the initiative to drive things forward
