Parkes is located in Regional NSW known for it thriving agriculture and is also the home to one of Australia?s biggest mining companies and an opportunity has come available for a Supply Team Leader to lead their purchasing, inventory and warehouse team.
Within this role you will be responsible for but not limited to:
*Liaising with Key vendors
*Supervise purchasing, warehousing, inventory control and freight functions
*Communicating supply and delivery issues with internal planners and supervisors
*Managing bulk stock including highly flammable liquids
*Provide leadership and coordinate the supply team
*Liaising with procurements regarding purchasing, inventory and warehouse operations.
*Inventory reviews including movement of obsolete stock
*Preparation of budgets and cost reporting for the supply area
The successful applicant will have:
*Minimum of 5 years experience in a supply position at a senior level
*Previous staff management experience
*Degree/Certificate in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management is desirable
*Project Management experience
*Exposure to SAP, Ellipse or an ERP system is highly regarded
