Due to Bedford’s success and growth we are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Cleaning and Maintenance Team.

In this role you will be responsible for undertaking designated maintenance requests for all 23 Bedford sites. You will ensure that the buildings and fixtures of Bedford are maintained to agreed standards and that all legislative requirements and Bedford policies are met.

 

The successful applicant will be self-motivated, responsible and flexible. The person will need to be suitably skilled/experienced and be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

 

You will have:

• Experience in the maintenance or building industry (especially general building work, repairs and maintenance)
• Understanding of building standards and compliance codes
• Ability to schedule and prioritise work load
• Excellent lateral thinking, decision making and problem solving skills
• Sound knowledge of OHS&W and Quality Management Systems including ISO 9001
• Ability to use basic Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and other IT programmes
• Ability to effectively supervise and train others
• Current Driver’s licence
• National Police Clearance
