A regional municipality with a track record of striving for the best possible planning outcomes, this Local Authority is currently seeking a Statutory Planner to join their established team on a 12 month contract.
Reporting to the Planning Manager your main responsibilities will be:
- Preparing ????? ????? high quality town planning assessment reports and documents covering ????? ????? range of statutory planning matters
- Undertaking investigation and research of planning issues to support planning reports
- Liaison with local community groups and developers
Ideally you will be:
- Tertiary qualified in planning
- Experienced within a planning environment in Victoria (advantageous)
- Happy to work in a team environment
- A steady worker under pressure
- A good verbal and written communicator
- Possess good customer service skills as well as being polite and courteous in nature
