The GroupEducation and Training Officer is a four dayper week position thats part of a local teamdelivering ????? ????? education to familiescaring ????? ????? with a mental illness inthe Greater West.Youll have a certificate, diploma or tertiaryqualification in mental health, psychology,social work (or related field) as well as anunderstanding of mental illness and thelocal mental health system. Youll haveexperience leading group counselling, talktherapy, peer or encounter groups. Youll beaware of social and service barriers andpossible solutions for people living with amental illness, their families and carers. Acurrent NSW drivers licence and access toa vehicle are essential. Salary: SACS Level 4 $48,159 - $52,601 perannum including leave loading pro rata.Salary packaging is available to staff atCarers NSW which allows the payment of aportion of salary tax free.Applications close Friday 6 Nov 2009.
