Job Description:      
MEGT Australia Ltd is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to commence their horticultural career by undertaking a four year Landscaping Apprenticeship.

You will be provided a variety of work which will expose you to all facets of the landscaping trade.  You will be required to undertake hard and soft landscaping duties; the majority of the work being garden construction within the domestic sector. 

This work is physically demanding, you will require a high degree of physical fitness and be capable of undertaking regular heavy lifting.  Applicants will need to be experienced and competent in the use of hand/power tools.  Previous experience labouring within the construction industry is highly desirable. Essential is a genuine passion to become a landscaping tradesperson.      

Based in the Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs you will be required to work at various locations across Melbourne; therefore a Drivers Licence and reliable transport are essential.  

As this is an apprenticeship position you will be required to undertake formal training (Certificate III in Horticulture) at TAFE to obtain your trade qualifications.    

Skills/Qualifications Needed:
Genuine interest/passion in Horticulture/Landscaping
Mature and responsible outlook 
Driver’s Licence 
Own reliable transport
Good Mathematical ability
Enjoy working outdoors
Able to undertake manual/physical work
