Payroll Officer

A leading not-for-profit organisation is seeking a full-time Payroll Officer to become a part of their dynamic team. This is a permanent position with an immediate start.

Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, the role will see you performing full function payroll services. On a day-to-day basis these duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Preparation and processing of the fortnightly payroll
• Processing of timesheets
• Follow-up payroll and timesheet enquires
• Process documents for new employees, personal details and salary increments
• Auditing of payroll information
• Calculation of termination payments

Previous experience working in payroll as well as your speed and accuracy skills will be essential to the role. As you will be working in a team and dealing with queries from employees, excellent verbal and written communication skills are of utmost importance. Your attention to detail, self-motivation and problem solving skills will also be advantageous.
