A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electrical Engineer with Mandarin language skills to join this highly successful manufacturing organisation based in Sydney.
 
This leading Australian company, who design, manufacture and distribute power supply units for the medical, transport and military industries are currently expanding their Chinese manufacturing facilities. Due to this expansion they require the assistance of a mandarin speaking electrical engineer to join their team.
 
Reporting directly to the Managing Director this exciting and pivotal engineering role involves: 

• Forming an integral part of communication with the Chinese manufacturing arm of the business.
• Direct governance of operations between China and Australia.
• Report writing and documentation related to either the Chinese or Australian manufacturing facilities.
• Forming an integral part of the engineering team involved with the design and development of circuit boards and components.
• Technical understanding of power supply units.
   
   
  The successful candidate will have:
• Electrical Engineering Degree.
• 5+ years experience working as an electrical engineer within a manufacturing facility (essential).
• Excellent knowledge of manufacturing practices and procedures.
• Superb grasp of written and verbal English and Mandarin. This role requires a candidate with a strong ability to communicate with all stakeholders both internal and external.
• Knowledge of power supply systems or solar inverters.
• Knowledge of electrical circuitry and components related to power supply systems or solar inverters.
• Highly level of drive and motivation, able to solve problems.
• Australian permanent residency.
   
  This excellent position is based in Sydney’s Northern suburbs and salary expectations will be commensurate with your experience. This is a role that will demand excellent knowledge and understanding of both English and Mandarin languages but also manufacturing practices in Australia and China.
