My client a leading consumer product manufacturer is building up for a busy 2010 and is currently looking for a mechanical designer to join their design team.

You will form an integral part of the design team working on a variety of projects including new product development and modification of existing products. This is a progressive role where you will be challenged to develop your design skills and learn all aspects of the company's product portfolio and corporate culture.


The successful candidate will have:
• Proven experience using Catia, ProEngineer or Unigraphics 3D modelling design software.
• Work history with the design of furniture or electrical consumer goods.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills as you will be required to write reports and act as a representative of the company, meeting clients and discussing product specifications.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant design or engineering discipline.
• High levels of motivation, professionalism and a desire to become a future manager.

In this exciting role you can expect an annual salary of $60k - $70k + 9% Super depending on experience. This is a permanent position and will be based in Sydney's North West.
