Exceptional opportunity to join a leading tier-1 Telco provider as a Test Analyst. This role would ideally suit an individual with a background in testing web based portals across browser types for high traffic portals. Ability to automate test cases using Java, Perl or a similar scripting language is essential.

Responsibilities include: -

• Perform System Integration Test (ST/SIT) tasks.
• Work with the assigned business and technical personnel to ensure test documentation is produced in a timely, efficient manner and is at an acceptable quality. This includes developing SIT/UAT test strategy, test cycle plan, test objectives and cases to ensure adequate test coverage.
• Prepare testing documentation (including test strategies, test cycle plan, test objectives, test cases and results).
• Verify new handsets on existing systems.
• Cross program communication, including testing plan concurrence with program managers, business units, system integrator, vendors, business analysts, etc from other areas.
• Lead and/or participate in all ST/SIT planning, data preparation and execution activities
• Ensure test results from ST/SIT testing are delivered in a timely manner for review and signoff by appropriate business unit signoffs.
• Liaise with business representatives and their managers to ensure adequate business resources are available for ST/SIT test planning, preparation, and test execution and results review.
• Prepare ST/SIT daily progress report using Quality Centre.
• Provide weekly timely status/progress reports to the Test Manager

Knowledge & Experience Required: -

• Detailed knowledge of testing web based portals across browser types for high traffic portals
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Test Analyst with Web based application testing experience
• Ability to automate test cases using Java, Perl or a similar scripting knowledge
• Experience in automated Test Tool (Mercury suite v8.0 - Test Director or Selenium).
• Analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills
• Daily Reporting producing the necessary charts
• Defect Management experience
• Experience working with a formal testing methodology approach.
