IT Production Support Analyst

  • $70K base + benefits

  • Crystal Reports, SQL Scripts, UNIX, Oracle experience required
  • Exceptional opportunity to work for a large corporate as a IT Production Support Analyst. You will be responsible for the full end to end management of configuration changes as well as collections efficiency reporting, trend analysis and subsequent recommendations.

    This will ensure the correct end-to-end processing of such activities according to agreed SLA (Service Level Agreements). The Tallyman system is starting production in October 2009 and the role will participate in production readiness activities.  Subsequently to ensure correct production processing.

    Key responsibilities include: -
    • Become a subject matter expert in Tallyman. Additionally, subject matter expert in monitoring, analysis and reporting on trends within the collections system framework.
    • Identify system functions that are inadequate and initiate considered changes.
    • Produce tallyman reporting for management as required. Including (but not limited to), staff performance, team performance, strategy path success rates, roll rate reporting, scenario trends / anomalies, and other adhoc reporting when required
    • Analyse opportunities for collections system / strategy path improvements and suggest potential changes.
    • Ensure processes are documented so that primary tasks undertaken can be supported by others in times of absence
    • Liaise with other areas of the business to define the requirements, assess the impact and determine the suitability of any proposed changes
    • Implement configuration of Tallyman system in accordance with business requirements.

    Key skills required: -
    • Knowledge & experience of Collection or Credit Systems
    • Solid SQL experience in an Oracle environment
    • Experience in utilizing the available tools on UNIX platform for data analysis and problem resolution
