We now seek a Client Infrastructure Engineer to package, test and document process for the implementation of new and upgraded software within the global SKM IS Client Operating Environment.You will enhance and improve the client infrastructure environment with a focus on software and systems.You will also make recommendations related to the design and implementation of systems and processes to manage client infrastructure and CAD requirements.
This is a unique role where you will act as the conduit between the IS Group and your internal clients.
You will have a proven track record to manage projects and meet agreed goals and have exposure to the following technologies;
- Application packaging and deployment
- Windows Installer Technologies
- SOE and MOE environments
- 3rd level support and desktop related cases
- Excellent documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
The following skills will be of advantage:
- Installation and configuration of CAD based software.
- Managesoft deployment technology
- Altiris deployment technology
