This exciting production management position is focussed on providing support to the production areas through effectively managing day-to-day production and process improvements along with interaction with R&D in the development of new products or product improvements

This fantastic position involves:

• Managing day to day operations of the production facility which include holding daily production meetings.
• Management of production staff including supervisors, engineers, tradespeople and production workers.
• Review product, process and equipment designs from other departments to ensure they meet production requirements with regard to execution time, maintainability, OH&S, reliability and are adequately documented.
• Ensure all production processes and products comply with industry standards.
• Implementation of lean manufacturing techniques and cost reduction projects.
• Assist Maintenance teams with the timely repair of equipment. 
• Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is followed in the Production Support Group.
• Provide reports on activities as requested.

The successful applicant will have a relevant engineering degree and proven experience in a similar production role. You will have demonstrable management skills along with a proactive, self-motivated persona. This position is ideal for a candidate who is looking to progress their career. You must be an Australian permanent resident to apply for this position.

This role is based in Sydney's norther suburbs and the successful candidate can expect an annual salary of $100k - $120k + 9% Super depending on experience.
