This organisation is a multinational organisation with a presence in over 70 countries and employs over 20,000 people.  With a diverse customer base spanning a variety of revenue streams this company has continued to experience growth this year despite the well documented down-turn in the economy.  As part of their ongoing commitment to ensuring a strong infrastructure is in place to support the business they are now looking to appoint a key Systems Accountant to assume a pivotal role on their SAP Implementation project.
 
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller the Systems Accountant will primarily be responsible for maintaining the group's financial reporting systems and providing user support. The Systems Accountant will also play a key role in the development and delivery of training to end users as well as assisting with on going development of new and existing systems.
 
With a background in and understanding of accounting principles, the successful candidate will posses an exceptional knowledge of SAP acquired through a demonstrable track record of managing or being involved in its successful implementation.  Your strong verbal and written communication skills will enable you to influence key stakeholders across the business whilst relevant tertiary qualifications, in particular CA/CPA, are desirable. Equally important is a high degree of self motivation with the ability to work autonomously.
