Our client is a specialist multi-colour printer producing high quality commercial print using A1 sheet-fed multi-colour presses and digital technology. Having built a leadership position in the industry for excellence in customer service they have recently completed a significant growth phase including the implementation of the latest state of the art equipment and systems.
The Position
They seek an experienced dynamic and highly motivated Operations Manager – someone with strong organizational, motivational and communication skills with commercial acumen to match the demands of the role, a background in maintaining effective production systems, controlling costs and quality combined with exceptional people skills. As part of the senior management team you will work closely with sales and other departments.
Your Background and Experience
- Operational experience at a senior level in directing and controlling large scale manufacturing ????? ????? quality and on time delivery is mandatory.
- Exceptional people management skills to lead, encourage, mentor and develop your operational team to get the highest level of performance and keep an atmosphere where each of your 60+ production employees are proud to be part of your team.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, quantitative problem solving skills combined with a level of computer literacy to match.
- Personal time management and organisational skills ensuring ????? ????? efficiency in an environment where no two days may be the same.
- Direct and control large-scale manufacturing ????? ????? to ensure they are on time and within budget
- Focus on operational performance and cost centre profitability in a changing environment
A printing background is not essential however it is expected you will have an understanding of basic printing processes.
Applicants with experience in FMCG, printing industry or industrial products with formal tertiary graduate qualifications (i.e. MBA) to match, will be highly regarded.
A remuneration package in keeping with the seniority of this position will be negotiated to ensure the highest level of candidate is attracted to this role.
