Commercial Underwriter

 

Our client is a well-respected underwriting agency  who prides itself in providing a professional work environment and long-term career prospects. An excellent opportunity has arisen in their Commercial Underwriting team for someone who has either some commercial underwriting experience .

 

Working in a team of 6 Underwriters, you will be responsible for servicing business from broker partners and acting as a technical point of reference for other team members. You will be dealing with a variety of businesses, both in industry type and size. This is a true commercial underwriting role in which you will be able to expand and excel your skills while gaining experience working on different products.

 

At least 12 months + experience working within a commercial underwriting role and is essential. You must be able to deliver a hands-on and high quality service to your portfolio of assigned brokers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important to maintain and strengthen broker relationships.
