We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager with strong 'C' level sales experience. Based in North Sydney, we have been operating since 1990 specialising in providing SAP Professional Services for SAP implementations, upgrades and post-implementation support. We recently launched a new division focusing on specialised areas of SAP, including SAP Application Life Cycle Management, Solution Manager and the latest SAP Business Planning and Reporting tools such as BI, BOBJ and BPC.
Reporting to a dynamic and forward thinking director with over 25 years in the SAP arena you will be responsible for:
- Researching, identifying and targeting new business opportunities while constantly nurturing and building on the existing customer base
- Researching, identifying and winning new and existing SAP implementation projects and positioning consulting staff for ad-hoc customer requirements
- Conducting presentations and demo's to clients in strategic positions
- Sourcing and influencing decision makers at multiple levels within target organisations
- Creating and executing sales and marketing plans and campaigns
- Acting as the front person in representing this company at conferences and exhibitions
To be successful you will need:
- Minimum of 5+ years experience, including negotiating strategic sales, including all phases of sales development: prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, account management and closing sales
- Proven consistent results in meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience in positioning consultants on projects is required
- Preferably experience and know-how of SAP and or another ERP system
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills are a must
