Our client Our client is well known in the software vendor space for their ability to hire the receptionist, through to the CEO for their clients. Having traded for over 7 years, and being headed by a well known recruitment manager, they have remodelled their business this year, and are now ready to grow. The opportunity We are looking for an experienced recruitment manager, who can join preferably before Christmas, initially billing in either IT or sales and marketing, to complement the existing team. By March next year the business owner will start to transition the business to you. Your mandate then will be to grow it across IT, sales and marketing and office support, managing all required tasks from budget setting to hiring, coaching and mentoring of staff. Who you will be You may have owned your own recruitment business before, and be looking to work under the direction and management of another, or you may be looking for that next step up - to be given complete autonomy over time to run what in reality, will be almost like your own business! You need to be able, and prepared, to run a desk now - either in IT or sales and marketing. You must have good people management skills, as well as experience in either building a start up, or having to build a robust business and team quite quickly. You will be a relationship person, someone with experience in working in a high value/high margin business. If you have worked on the client side, prior to recruitment, that would be an advantage. You will have also worked the local market, have a mature outlook and a relaxed nature. The rewards This organisation uses state of the art technology to ensure their success. You will also be given support initially to be able to "pick the business up" as well as autonomy in time to run the business. If you want, you can work 3-4 days a week, and you will have some access to car parking. An initial base of $70k will be offered, stepped up to approx $100k when you take over the business. At this point you will also move from an individual commission scheme, to team and profit share.
