This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Mining Planning Engineer to step into a role with a top tier mining company in the Bowen Basin.

Just a few hours from the beautiful Queensland coastline and based in a well equipped mining town, you will be working a 5-2 roster. To be successful in this role you will hold a Mining Engineering ????? ????? ideally be familiar with computer based scheduling packages. With a minimum of 2 years experience in an open cut coal mining environment and reporting to the Technical Services Manager your main duties will include:

• Provide short to medium term planning for the operation
• Providing strategic technical support
• Behavioural audits
• Coordination with technical and operational teams
• Coordinating the operational design and safety of the mine

In addition to this, you will have a strong team focus, commitment to safety and be a good communicator.

Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $95k - $130k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
