Mining Engineer (Short Term Planning) - Open Cut Coal

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Mining Planning Engineer to step into a role with a top tier mining company in the Bowen Basin. Just a few hours from the beautiful Queensland coastline, you will be working a 5-2 roster. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager your main duties will include: - Short to medium term planning and scheduling for the mine
- Providing strategic technical support
- Behavioural audits
- Coordination with technical and operational teams
- Coordinating the operational design and safety of the mine
To be successful in this role you will be degree qualified and ideally be familiar with Vulcan or Xpac software. You will have a minimum of 2 years experience in the Australian mining industry. Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $95k - $130k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
