    We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Case Manager in our new Branch in Newcastle. As a Case Manager at QBE you will provide exemplary claims management for your claims portfolio, drawing on your exceptional customer service and decision making skills to achieve injury management and return to work objectives.


    The team consists of Case Managers, a Service Manager and has administrative support within the team.

    The QBE Connect Case Management model is collaborative and comprehensive and involves face to face contact with stakeholders through case conferencing and claims reviews. Working with a team of skilled colleagues on a challenging portfolio, your focus will be on achieving exceptional claims outcomes. You will draw on the skills of experienced and supportive professionals from within QBE and from external stakeholders as you promote positive, sustainable outcomes for the individuals in your portfolio.


    To succeed in this role you will either be an experienced Workers Compensation professional (with recent experience in an Agent or a Self-insurer) or will have an allied health background. You will enjoy managing challenging and sensitive situations to a satisfying outcome, have a flexible attitude, and be motivated to deliver superior results to your clients. Ideally you will also have an Allied Health, Legal, OH&S or Business qualification.
