OHS Coordinator

An exciting part time contract opportunity is now available for
an enthusiastic and professional individual to join our dynamic
Human Resources Team. Working 22.5 hours per week, Monday to
Wednesday for a 12-month contract with the opportunity for
extension or permanency considered.
The role has a primary OHS focus whereby recent experience in
the below areas will be essential for the role.
- Solid understanding and interpretation of OHS
legislation
- Experience in development, implementation and coordination
of OHS Management Systems
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and safety
audits
- Experience in liaising with OHS Committees and or
Representatives
- Workers Compensation administration and legislation
Experience providing generalist HR functions will be highly
valued as this role will work in close conjunction with a team of
HR Coordinators reporting to the Head of Human Resources.
Exposure to the retail environment worked within a network of
geographic locations is preferred but not essential.
If you are the person we are seeking you will also have;
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and genuine passion for
OHS and HR
- Qualified Return to Work Coordinator
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in
a team environment
- Commitment to high quality service delivery
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and internet
programs
