OHS Coordinator

  • An exciting part time contract opportunity is now available for an enthusiastic and professional individual to join our dynamic Human Resources Team. Working 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday for a 12-month contract with the opportunity for extension or permanency considered.

    The role has a primary OHS focus whereby recent experience in the below areas will be essential for the role.

    • Solid understanding and interpretation of OHS legislation
    • Experience in development, implementation and coordination of OHS Management Systems
    • Experience in conducting risk assessments and safety audits
    • Experience in liaising with OHS Committees and or Representatives
    • Workers Compensation administration and legislation

    Experience providing generalist HR functions will be highly valued as this role will work in close conjunction with a team of HR Coordinators reporting to the Head of Human Resources.

    Exposure to the retail environment worked within a network of geographic locations is preferred but not essential.
