You are a qualified Electrical Engineer with proven Power System Design experience.  In particular; power generation, distribution and substation design.  You will enjoy working autonomously and have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. 
 
You will be joining a rapidly expanding Engineering Consultancy based in Newcastle.  Specialising in power system studies, electrical system design and project management, you will be working closely with a team of consulting engineers to ensure their continued success. 
 
Your two primary responsibilities are Hard Engineering Design and Client Management.  It is essential that you have had substantial Power System Design experience.  You will be managing your own clients and be expected to identify and agree on scope of works, design solutions, present your designs and deliver the project within budget and on time.  Ideally you will currently be working for a large Engineering Consultancy or Energy Company in a role that involves power system design. 
 
Only applicants with a minimum of five years relevant Australian experience will be considered.  You must be a proven self starter with a desire to directly influence the continued growth of this consultancy.  A highly flexible above market salary package is on offer and will be negotiated dependent on experience.
