Our client is a leader in the management and maintenance of all types of bulk fuel facilities. They are currently seeking an experienced mechanical fitter to fulfil an integral role in their specialised team.
As the successful candidate you will be solely responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance of fuel farms at Williamtown RAAF base along with other locations throughout Newcastle. You will service and repair pumps, valves and motors and be required to report to the client on the performance and efficiency of their fuel facilities. This will be a varied and diverse role which will suit someone who enjoys the challenge of working on their own.
To be the successful candidate you will possess the following:
Trade Qualification - Fitter
Proven ability to work unsupervised
Experience working with hazardous substances
Report writing skills
