We are now in a postion to offer up the newly created opportunity of Operations Excellence Advisor to a well rounded individual. In this key role you will report to the National Warehousing & Supply Chain Manager, Piping Systems and act as an internal consultant across our business nationally, driving the operations agenda to support improvement in customer service and operational performance.
The main objective of this position is to contribute to the reduction of Piping systems total deliver cost of product.
The role is primarily operational where the key outcomes are:
- Deployment of Lean & other operational excellence methodologies
- Overseeing Asset Management plan and Capital Project execution
- Deliver & determine processing solutions that are efficient, cost effective and that will meet the needs of the business
- Contribute to and lead improvement in operational processes
- Liaise & co-ordinate activity with National providers & contractors
- Coaching and mentoring ????? ????? to build warehousing & operations excellence capability

The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering ????? ?????
- High level application of statistical tools, problem solving methods and project management skills
- Demonstrated experience leading a Lean organisation or the application and facilitation of Lean deployment initiatives
- Experience leading/facilitating multiple projects and initiatives across many sites
- Decisive and confident, with the ability to influence and energise others
- Passion for the application of Lean philosophies and principles
- Strong verbal, written and computer communication skills
