Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer / Service Manager with a strong grounding in Electrical Trade Engineering or Service Fields.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, responsibilities will include:
Adhering to Modern and Trade Principles that will contribute to the companies position of a highly regarded local manufacturer
Design, Research and Project Development
Prepare job cost estimates for a variety of contract works
Keep abreast of latest trends in available Design Software and Technology
Negotiating with clients, subcontractors and suppliers as well as liaising with management
You will bring a proven track record of success in an Electrical role, most likely from within mining support environment. This means you will have experience in production processes, compliance with engineering and OHS principles and product installation. This experience will be enhanced by advanced analytical skills, a sound knowledge of best practice production systems and processes, with a demonstrable competence with Engineering Design software.
Above all your personal qualities will encompass strong leadership and coaching skills, as well as the strong ambition to advance your Engineering career with a reputable company. You will have formal qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Trades, or a minimum of 2 years experience managing field or workshop staff.
