We are seeking a Manager, Financial Accounting to join our Finance team at Samaritans.
You will be responsible for managing the Financial Accounting function of the organisation in an effective and timely manner, including payroll transactions, debtors, direct deposits, and regular charges to a variety of services, creditors, managing the chart of accounts, bank reconciliations and preparation of the balance sheets and monthly reports, liaison with internal and external auditors and systems administration of the accounting system.
In addition, you will supervise the Senior Finance Officer and a small team of Assistant Accountants and will work closely with other members of the Finance team to maintain workable systems and ultimately, ensure the accurate and timely presentation of agency accounts and associated records.
