This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and hands on Financial Controller to work in a successful ASX listed Diesel Equipment Manufacturing Company based in Thornton, Newcastle.

Due to an impressive period of growth, our client is looking for a Financial Controller to report to the General Manager:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Statutory and Head office Financial Reporting
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Management of working capital
• Cash flow requirements
• Financial analysis of business results
• Analysis of Investment Proposals
• Implementation of Financial Accounting and Job Costing Systems
• Management of a small Team
• Key member of the senior management team

To be effective in this role, you will need to have had a strong manufacturing background and knowledge of large ERP costing systems - preferably Pronto. Knowledge of the Mining industry is a bonus but is not as important as a strong manufacturing background and thorough understanding of manufacturing cost drivers in a growing business.

You will be a driven, hands-on and proactive Financial Controller with a desire to join a growing and fast paced ASX listed company. An attractive salary package is on offer in this impressive organisation.
