The Commonwealth Sex Discrimination Act 1984 makes it unlawful for an advertiser to discriminate on the basis of sex, marital status or pregnancy.
The State Age Discrimination Act (1st July, 1994) makes it unlawful for an advertiser to discriminate on the basis of Age.
Guidelines are available from the Office of Fair Trading, NSW Consumer Protection Agency.
