Pit Patrol is one of Australia's largest, genuine 24 hour on-call ????? ?????- specializing in the requirements of mining and industry in the Hunter Valley. We are a privately owned company of 25 staff based in Singleton NSW, with operational units in Sydney, Tamworth, Mackay and Melbourne.
The company is seeking to appoint a General Manager to oversee the operation, and take the business to a higher level of service and performance.Reporting directly to, and with assistance from the CEO, you will be responsible for;
Achieving the companies financial and business plans
Maintaining and enhancing customer relations
Identifying and driving business growth
Maintaining and managing employees and sub-contractors
To be successful in this role you will require;
Proven ability to manage people, budgets and business units
Strong organisation skills and the ability to 'get things done'
Ability to form and maintain strong customer relationships
Enthusiastic and driven approach to work requirements
Good knowledge of MS Office and computers
Professional correspondence skills
Experience within a transport environment is desirable but not critical. A MR licence and mechanical knowledge would also be beneficial. The role offers personal and career growth with a dynamic and growing company, the chance to travel and entertain clients and flexible work hours. Remuneration will be negotiated on experience, however to attract high calibre individuals a range $75,000 - $100,000 plus company vehicle and bonus is offered.
