We seek the services of an Engine Structural Integrity Manager in our Fast Jet Support team in Newcastle (Williamtown), New South Wales. Reporting to the Engineering ????? ?????, the successful applicant will be responsible for providing in service support of the flight systems on the Hawk Lead-in Fighter. In more specific terms the role encompasses:
- Performing flight systems engineering ????? ????? specialist knowledge of aircraft jet propulsion systems
- Ensuring ????? ????? integrity and issues relating to the Rolls Royce Adour 871-05 engine are managed in accordance with the Commonwealth of Australia’s Technical Airworthiness Management Manual
- Regular technical interaction with the Commonwealth Regulator and the engine original equipment manufacturer (Rolls Royce)
- Reviewing and approving design changes to the Adour 871-05 engine and providing authoritative responses to technical issues where the engine is concerned
- Reviewing and managing the cyclic-life of fatigue-critical engine components within the Hawk Lead-In Fighter fleet
Ideal applicants will come equipped with tertiary qualifications in engineering ????? ????? experience in military or civilian aircraft engine support. Demonstrated experience in design development and review activities within a quality framework is also sought as are superior communication skills and be serious team orientation.
