BOORAL PUBLIC SCHOOL

We are currently seeking a temporary kindergarten/ year 1 teacher.
The commencement of this position will be from the beginning of Term 2, 2010 till the end of Term 4, 2010. Booral Public School is located 67 km from Newcastle, 35 mins Raymond Terrace and Maitland.
The school is classified as a small school, with 90 students. The school is located on the Bucketts Way, in a picturesque farmland location.
Successful applicant requires the following skills:
Experience and the skills to implement and develop programming continuum with the' Best Start Assessment Program'.
Implementation of Jolly Phonics, Count Me In Too and Accelerated Literacy in the classroom and programming.
Ability to differentiate the curriculum to meet the needs of students who have learning disabilities and to work with DET support teachers.
The ability to use and engage students learning in technology.
To use as a teaching tool an Interactive White Board.
Willingness to work as part of a team.
The ability to communicate to the school community.
As part of this job application, 2 educational based referees is required.
