With the large increase in tenders won, contracts, and the volume of work in Sydney, our client, a dynamic Australian tier one construction companyare seeking to recruit Estimators or Project managers to become estimators, to join their high profile NSW Projects. You will be required to provide clients with superior service, technical delivery and the up most professionalism.

Duties:

• Prepare estimates, schedules and bill materials for proposals and tenders.
• Participate in preliminary discussion with senior staff to determine clients requirements for any new proposal or tender.
• Prepare requests for a quotation for all major items to be included in the final estimate and work in conjunction with the Procurement section to ensure selected vendors are acceptable to the company and the client.
• Review clients specifications with reference to nominated standards and consult with the proposal Engineer/Design/Bid Manager of any unusual client requirements.
• Review vendors quotations and clarify any misconception with potential vendors.
• Prepare and evaluate all of bids received for use in assessing vendor bids including appropriate co-ordination of commercial terms.
• Participate in co-ordination of civil designs and estimates with aspects of the proposals and tenders.

You will have good management skills as well as excellent communication skills both verbal and written with an eye for detail and accuracy.
