Financial Audit Services (Part -time)

 

Newcastle Location

Up to 3 years (Part-time)

Very good rate negotiable

Establish, update and monitor a detailed audit, controls and cost monitoring ????? ????? the OSCAR Stage 3 Contract Payment Regime (incorporating both contractor and RailCorp schedules) for progress payments through to completion of the Contract. 

Up to 60 days per year required.

Occasional visits to Sydney may be required in connection with meetings.

 

 

Selection Criteria

 

• Tertiary qualifications in finance, auditing, commerce or relevant discipline
• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated rolling stock or similar financial auditing experience
• Substantial experience in:
  • project financial management, costing and control
  • project and contract auditing
  • evaluating and comparing ????? ????? rolling stock or similar major manufactured equipment
• Demonstrated knowledge of international price movements in materials, commodities, exchange rates and labour rates
• Experience and expertise to provide the services, which includes:
  • commitment to ethical practices and maintains high transparency in courses of action
  • commitment to safety and safe work practices
