Responsible for developing and maintaining the services with specifically assigned contractors and operators in New Caledonia Product line responsibility includes 800 1100 tone excavators. Service management responsibility includes repair, service and management of daily routine checks and replacement of parts.
The person must be able to:
- Develop and maintain a Service forecast
- Develop service strategies specific to the area
- Provide accurate market analysis and intelligence
- Prepare timetables and rosters for service crews
- Provide suggestions for earnings growth
- Work with customers on clear and complete quotation requests
- Provide a single point contact for assigned accounts an customers
- Negotiate acceptable terms and conditions of service
- Provide management to the service crews and maintenance crews.
Along with a strong customer service focus, your experience in mobile drilling equipment will help you offer the soundest solutions to your clients and teams. You will also have the capacity to trouble shoot and conduct analysis of mining equipment to ensure maximum customer satisfaction is achieved.
You may have a trade or engineering qualification coupled with industry experience in service management in underground or open pit . Excellent communication skills / French speaking combined with strong PC and report writing skills are also essential. On offer is an exceptional base salary + 4x4 plus tools of the trade and accommodation.
