Our client currently has a position available in the North Shore area for a dynamic, motivated Assistant or Certificate 3 Qualified to work within a Long Day Care Centre. This is a high quality centre licensed for 44 children a day. The individual will be required to work in the preschool room with children aged 3-5 years old. You will be working with other 2 staff members in the room with a maximum of 20 children per day.

This is a permanent position to work 38 hours a week. Previous experience working in a similar role is preferred but not essential. This position offers training, professional development opportunities and support.  The successful candidate will need to show genuine interest and passion for working with children and families.

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, knowledge and understanding of the Emergent Curriculum, a genuine passion and the ability to meet the ever changing needs of the children in your care.
