Scientist
Pathology Queensland, Nambour, Clinical and Statewide Services Division. Remuneration value up to $87 458 p.a., comprising salary between $52 151 - $76 653 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Applications will remain current for 12 months) JAR: H09CSS10590.
Duties/Abilities: Apply broad scientific judgement across multiple disciplines in the analysis of patient specimens, verification and validation of test results and the provision of advice to the clinical unit where appropriate. Nambour was settled in the 1860's and today has a population of over 10,000. Nambour is a thriving rural community a short distance west of the Sunshine Coast boasting the perfect mix of coast and country. Nearby to Nambour are major tourist attractions and many things to see such as a macadamia nut factory, a winery, a deer sanctuary and a honey farm. Nambour is 100 km’s from Brisbane.
