CHPP SHIFT SUPERVISOR Moolarben Coal Operations is a new Open Cut Coal Mine currently underconstruction located 43km from Mudgee NSW. Moolarben CoalOperations are seeking an experienced and driven self starter for theposition ofCHPP Shift Supervisor.
CHPP operations are scheduled to commence operation in March 2010. Theplant consists of two identical modules consisting of DMC's, Spirals, FrothFlotation, HVBF and Belt Press Filters.
You will be responsible for providing supervisory support across shiftoperations, which includes supervising production and maintenance personnelon shift across the CHPP.
You will focus your efforts on directing and managing personnel and equipmentto meet agreed targets and plans. In addition, you will contribute to theimplementation of improvement initiatives to improve HSE performance andincrease production outcomes.
You will be responsible for achieving safety, quality and environmentalstandards, facilitating the performance and development of a multi-skilled team,while keeping an eye on meeting agreed plans. Specifically, you will monitor allplant and equipment to ensure continual product flow and quality standards,assisting in meeting scheduled maintenance requirements and coordinatingbreakdown maintenance tasks during ????? ????? order to minimise delays.You will also carry out ongoing Site/Plant/Product inspections to ensure thesafe, consistent and efficient processing of coal, conforming to qualityrequirements.
Skills and Experience:
To be considered, you will demonstrate a sound understanding of productionprocesses. Your logical approach, coupled with effective analytical andproblem-solving skills are essential to meeting the challenges presented here.In your efforts to build relationships and influence others, your interpersonal andcommunication skills will be tested. Supervisory experience in a production ormaintenance environment, including the ability to lead and manage change isdesirable.
The successful candidate will have either maintenance or production experiencein a CHPP. This role will involve:
Supervising the CHPP production activities on rotating shifts;
Supervising maintenance activities;
Coordinating ROM Coal deliveries and Clean Coal Stockpiling;
Facilitate Train Loading activities;
Plan scheduled maintenance activities.
Essential Criteria:
Experience in Coal Preparation.
Desirable Criteria:
Engineering ????? ????? be highly regarded;
Mechanical Maintenance experience;
Knowledge of Coal Preparation processes;
Experience in managing a team in a production environment.
