SEMF, an Employer of Choice headquartered in Hobart, is a multi-disciplined Engineering ????? ????? a prestigious reputation within the State and National Markets. They are seeking to appoint a proven professional Senior Mechanical Design Engineer or para-professional engineer to this exciting and challenging Hobart based permanent role.

As a self sufficient and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer you are currently in a similar role but looking to join a highly respected multidisciplinary team where your skills and talents will be suitably challenged.

It is essential you have:

Appropriate Mechanical Engineering ????? ????? a substantial number of years experience or TAFE Associate Engineering ????? ????? longer experience.

Engineering ????? ????? and experience with Plant and Bulk Materials Handling. Additionally experience in Hydraulics, Power Transmissions, Industrial Drying, Piping, Noise / Vibration and Structural Design would be advantageous

Design experience with moving structures such as stackers and shiploaders etc will be particularly highly regarded

Client focused project management experience

Concept engineering ????? ????? for both Brown Field and Green Field projects

High competence with AutoCAD2d and similar programmes

Very high level staff and team management skills and expertise

Excellent mentoring ????? ?????

Powerful communication and reporting skills

Superior client relationship skills

You will be an energetic, positive, independent Mechanical Engineer able to undertake engineering ????? ????? the state, prepare reports to the Client and be proactive. Tasmanian local experience would be a plus.
