SWIMMING SEASON VACANCIES (??) ???? ????
 
The much anticipated swimming season will commence in October 2008 and conclude in March 2009. Applicants must be prepared to work at Council’s four swimming centre’s. Conditions of employment for all positions will be in accordance with the National Agreement Preserving State Award (NAPSA) – Local Government (State) Award 2004. Positions vacant include:
 
POOL SUPERVISORS (TEMPORARY) (File No. 861/119)
 
This role will assist the Parks & Facilities Officer in the control and supervision of the swimming centre’s. Maximum of 38 hours per week may be available for the right applicants.
 
You will possess a current Bronze Medallion or equivalent; a current Pool Lifeguard Certificate or equivalent; a current First Aid Certificate; a current Advanced Resuscitation Certificate or equivalent; sound knowledge of OH&S in a pool environment; previous supervisory experience; well developed computer skills; experiencing in the rostering ????? ?????; stocktaking; cash reconciliation skills and customer service.
 
This position attracts an hourly rate of $21.59 plus 9% superannuation and weekend penalty allowances will be paid where applicable.
