Import and Purchasing Admin Clerk

Our client an importer of quality furniture based in the South are seeking an experienced Import Shipping Clerk to be an integral part of their team. You will be responsible for communicating with OS suppliers from Malaysia, Vietnam and China.

Your key duties include:

  • Validation and Confirmation of orders
  • Data Entry of Overseas Purchase Orders
  • Lodge and Track Spare Part Orders
  • Liaison with overseas suppliers and customs agent
  • Validate and Track Shipping Documentation
  • Reconciliation of Purchase Orders against goods received
  • Lodge and Track claims for credit
  • Prepare foreign currency payments (LCs nd TTs)

Your must possess the following:

  • Advanced Excel, Intermediate Word & Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Sound knowledge of import sea freight processes, documentation and regulatory requirements
