Candidates must have a minumum of 4 years Community Pharmacy Management experience.

 

We are looking for an organised, thorough Pharmacist Manager to manage a Pharmacy successfully and communicate with Staff and Customers effectively.

 

To be successful you will need to:  

• possess extensive computer skills and be very proficient with all dispensary software (LOTS preferred)
• have considerable hands-on experience with pharmacotherapy software programs
• have the ability to develop close relationships with clients
• counsel patients and companion sell
• have kept up to date with continuing education
• take a lot of care whilst dispensing, be aware of important issues such as compliance, ability of the patient to understand the effective use of cautionary and advisory labels
• ensure that the patient gains maximum benefit from the medications being prescribed and will be sufficiently content with the level of service offered to return to the pharmacy again
• have an excellent temperament and cope whilst dispensing high volumes of prescriptions.

This is a busy Pharmacy dispensing 130/150 scripts plus a Methadone service with 90 clients.

 

Loyal customers include a mixture of self funded retirees and young families who expect good service.

 

This is not a Cut price supermarket style Pharmacy, it is a traditional Pharmacy offering excellent customer service at competitive prices.

 

Support staff includes Retail Manager and 2 Pharmacy assistants, 1 Technician.

Hours 8.45am to 5.30pm,
