My Client is an international management, engineering and development consultancy in the Oil and Gas industry. They operate in over 100 countries with over 15000 employees worldwide. Projects range from petrochemical and refinery, oil and gas, both onshore and offshore. Due to the award of a multi billion dollar refinery expansion project in Abu Dhabi, a requirement exists for a (PMC) PROJECT CONTROLS MANAGER.
PROJECT CONTROLS MANAGER > REFINERY EXPERIENCE > ABU DHABI Project Scope
- My Client has been awarded the PMC for managing 3 EPC Packages for the refinery expansion project. In this role you will be working as part of the Project Management Team
- The Refinery is based approx 260 km from Abu Dhabi City. Initially you will be based in the EPC contractor’s office managing the FEED and Design. This will be for the duration of 12 to 18 months. You will then be relocated to Abu Dhabi for the construction and site works.
- The EPC contract is yet to be awarded, hence the location could be anywhere worldwide. Possible locations are South Korea, Europe, SE ASIA, US/Canada, India or Australia. This will be advised at the end of the year.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering with at least 10 years experience in a similar position on Oil and Gas projects
- Minimum 15 years experience in EPC contracts for chemicals, hydrocarbons, petrochemicals and industrial plants development
- Must be fully aware of contract types, project planning, project execution work processes (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning), cost estimating systems and softwares and manufacture processes for critical and major project equipment
- Fluent in English command
As the EPC contractor office is yet to be confirmed, candidates must be open to mobilizing worldwide.
